It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Mathematics. The Department of Mathematics at Bonga University was established in 2010 E.C. under the College of Natural and Computational Sciences. Since its establishment, the department has graduated four batches in Applied Mathematics at the B.Sc. degree level. Currently, we have 10 instructors with master’s degrees in various specializations and 5 staff members who are pursuing their Ph.D. studies.
The Department focuses on the study of mathematical theories, structures, and techniques, providing a strong foundation in both pure and applied mathematics. Our program offers students the opportunity to develop essential critical thinking and problem-solving skills that prepare them for a wide range of careers across different industries.
