Dr. Petros Woldegiorgis was the founding President of Bonga University, serving from its establishment in June 2015 until May 2025. He played a pivotal role in laying the structural and academic foundations of the institution. Under his leadership, the university expanded its infrastructure and launched several key colleges, focusing on the development of natural resource management and agricultural sciences.
