I am very pleased to welcome you to the College of Social Sciences and Humanities at Bonga University! I feel proud to signify more than eighty-five dedicated and energetic staff members, with their interdisciplinary academic backgrounds, who are serving the college through teaching, research, community engagement, and project work. The staff is working mainly for the success of students and community improvements. The research and projects they are doing connect them directly to the local community and government institutions.
Since its establishment, the college has trained students in various fields in undergraduate programs. Currently, the college is dedicated to promoting the social sciences and humanities, indigenous language and law. The college also delivers common courses for undergraduate programs for freshman students. The courses are mainly aimed at knowing and appreciating one's own community and improving communication skills and critical thinking. The courses also augment our students’ social sensitivity and encourage their wisdom of social responsibility and community engagement.
