The Leadership

Welcome to Our College

Dear Colleagues,

I hope you are doing well. I am delighted to share an overview of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resource Management at Bonga University, along with some key achievements and current statistics as we continue advancing our mission. Agriculture remains a vital pillar of our nation’s economy, with more than 85% of the population depending on traditional farming systems and rainfall-based production for their livelihoods.

Despite its importance, the agricultural sector faces several persistent challenges, such as:
Limited access to modern agricultural technologies
Insufficient availability of improved seed varieties
A shortage of trained professionals and skilled manpower

At the College of Agriculture and Natural Resource Management, we are committed to addressing these challenges. By equipping our graduates with practical skills and strong theoretical foundations, we aim to drive innovation and improve agricultural productivity. Our students and alumni play a critical role in uplifting the sector and responding to these pressing issues. Together, we can strengthen the agricultural base of our country and contribute to long-term food security.

We strongly believe that practical experience must go hand in hand with academic knowledge. To enrich the learning experience of our students, we provide multiple avenues for hands-on training and real-life demonstration activities that directly align with the concepts explored in the classroom.
