It is my pleasure to extend warm greetings to all students, staff, partners, and community stakeholders on behalf of the Department of Public Officer at the College of Health Sciences, Bonga University.
Our department is committed to producing competent, ethical, and community-centered public health professionals who are capable of addressing the pressing health challenges of our nation. Through high-quality teaching, practical community engagement, and evidence-based research, we strive to empower our students with the knowledge and skills needed to contribute meaningfully to Ethiopia’s health sector.
We also recognize the vital role of collaboration—both within the university and with external health institutions, government bodies, NGOs, and community organizations. Together, we work to strengthen public health systems, improve service delivery, and promote preventive health practices that uplift communities.
