The Department of History and Heritage Management is designed to produce graduates with a strong and comprehensive understanding of history, both in general and within regional and national contexts. The program emphasizes critical thinking, historical analysis, and the study of past societies to help students understand the foundations of contemporary social, political, and cultural realities.
In addition, the department fosters an appreciation of multiculturalism and the value of cultural diversity, while promoting the preservation and responsible management of historical and cultural heritage.
