Wondimu W/yohannes’s Biography
Mr. Wondimu W/yohannes Ayiso is a Bonga University lecturer in the field of English Teaching of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). He attained his Master of Arts in TEFL from Wachemo University, his Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Wolaita Sodo University and a Diploma in Teaching at the First Cycle Primary Education Language Stream Civics Focus from Hossana College of Teachers Education. Now, Mr. Wondimu works as an Instructor in the Department of English Language and Literature at Bonga University. In his role, he teaches undergraduate English courses, mentors students, prepares curricula and instructional materials, and undertakes various academic and departmental responsibilities. He has for over fourteen (14) years of teaching experience at primary, secondary, preparatory, and university levels. He also served as a school principal in primary, secondary and preparatory schools. He is deeply dedicated to active language instruction, student-centered pedagogy, professional development, and academic excellence. His commitment to English language teaching is further reflected in his engagement in innovative teaching practices, curriculum and material development, research-related activities, and community service. He contributes to the academic, professional, and social development of students and the wider educational community. Besides to his academic experiences, Mr. Wondimu holds several professional certifications, including the Higher Diploma Program (HDP), English Language Improvement Center/Program (ELIC/ELIP), and e-Learning for Strengthening Higher Education (e-SHE). He also participated in a training program on Grant Writing. Over all, Mr. Wondimu W/yohannes Ayiso, who is a loyal educator, works as an instructor in teaching, mentoring, curriculum development, and community engagement, and he continues to contribute meaningfully to the progression of English language education and higher institution.
