Biography
My name is Dawit Birhanu Diko. I was born in sayilem (Kafa, Bonga) in 1986 G.C. I received my BA in teaching English Language as a foreign language in 2013 G.C. from the Bahir Dar University. In 2015 I joined Jimma University to accomplish my second degree and I received the MA degree in Teaching English as Foreign Language (TEFL) from the University. In 2022, I joined the Bonga University as a Lecturer, where I am serving as head of the English Department. I have taught several courses on the department. I have 14 years English teaching experience in Government High School and preparatory school and 4 years Lecturer experiences.Besides to my academic experiences, I hold several professional certifications, including the Higher Diploma Program (HDP), English Language Improvement Center/Program (ELIC/ELIP), and e-Learning for Strengthening Higher Education (e-SHE). I also participated in a training program on Grant Writing. My dedication to English language education is further reflected in his engagement in innovative teaching practices, curriculum and material development, research-related activities, and community service.
