Biography

Mr. Mitiku Woldemariam Addi started his primary education in SWEPRS, Kaffa Zone, Gimbo Woreda, Kutti primary school and continued his secondary education in Gimbo woreda Gimbo secondary school and pursued preparatory school in Bishaw W/Yoannes secondary school in Bonga town, SWEPR. Furthermore, he joined his tertiary education at Hawassa University and graduated in Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology since 2012 and MA (Master of Arts degree in developmental psychology specialty from Jimma University). After graduating bachelor degree; he served different secondary schools in providing guidance & counseling services and he also served as assistant lecturer of psychology at Bonga Education College till 2019.
Mitiku is currently a senior academic and researcher at Bonga University where he serves as lecturer (MA) -level faculty member and head department of psychology in the university. He has managed students’ research within the College of social science and humanities, department of psychology and the manner he managed his students’ research is acknowledged in the university student research schemes.
He conducted his M.A thesis report on the association between students’ perception of bullying and their academic achievement and recognized as excellent by the external and internal examiners of the research in Jimma University since June, 2022.
