My research interest is centered on the intersection of structural economic transformation
and agricultural productivity in emerging economies. Specifically
my interests are categorized into the following scientific domains: Structural Macroeconomic Reform: I investigate the causal relationships between privatization
Foreign Direct Investment (FDI)
and GDP growth. My work focuses on how transitioning state-owned enterprises to the private sector serves as a catalyst for long-run economic expansion. Agricultural Economics and Technology Adoption: I am deeply committed to studying the drivers of rural development
specifically through my research on the "Challenges and Opportunities in the Adoption of Modern Agricultural Inputs in Gimbo woreda." This involves analyzing the socio-economic barriers such as credit access and market infrastructure that influence the uptake of high-yield technologies among smallholder farmers. Public Sector Economics: My interests include the study of Public Finance
where I examine government revenue systems
the efficiency of developmental versus non-developmental expenditure
and the role of fiscal policy in achieving macroeconomic stability. Applied Econometrics: I have a professional interest in the application of time-series modeling (ADF
and VECM) to provide evidence-based solutions for policy challenges within the Ethiopian economy.
