Biography
I am a dedicated academic professional with an extensive background in English linguistics and educational leadership, currently serving at Bonga University. I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from Hawassa University, where I graduated with a CGPA of 3.74 and a thesis rated as "Very Good". This follows my Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the same institution, which I completed with a distinguished CGPA of 3.86. My foundational education was completed in Shapa and Bonga, where I earned my school-leaving and university entrance certificates.
With over 28 years of experience in the education sector, I have spent the last four years contributing to the growth of Bonga University in multiple high-level capacities. My leadership tenure includes serving as the Head of the English Language and Literature Department, Director of the Library, and Dean of the College of Social Science and Humanities.
In my current role, I serve as a Coordinator for Research, Community Service, and Industry Linkage, while also serving as a Principal Investigator and Leader of the Bita/Sheda Research Center. Alongside these administrative responsibilities, I remain committed to teaching and sharing knowledge with students, drawing upon my deep expertise in pedagogy and language studies.
