Biography
Dr. Kelelew Addisu Hailemichael is a renowned geographer and accomplished academic leader, currently serving as the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Bonga University. With extensive expertise in both human and physical geography, his research encompasses environmental management, land use and land cover change, climate change adaptation, geographic information systems (GIS), urban and regional planning, rural development, population studies, and geography education.
Throughout his career, Dr. Kelelew has been deeply committed to fostering academic excellence, strengthening research capacity, and promoting innovative teaching methodologies. He has played a pivotal role in curriculum development, faculty mentorship, and the advancement of strategic academic initiatives that align with national development priorities.
