Biography
Haile Belete is a dedicated civil engineer and academic specializing in geotechnical engineering. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Jimma University on June 23, 2016, where he built a strong foundation in structural analysis, construction practices, and engineering design. Driven by a passion for advancing knowledge in soil mechanics and foundation engineering, he pursued postgraduate studies and successfully completed his Master of Science in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical Engineering).
Since December 23, 2021, Haile has been serving as a Lecturer at Bonga University, where he teaches and mentors undergraduate students in civil engineering. His academic role combines rigorous instruction with research, focusing on geotechnical challenges relevant to Ethiopia’s construction industry. He is committed to capacity-building, professional development, and fostering excellence among the next generation of engineers.
