I am a senior academic and experienced leader at Bonga University, Ethiopia, with over 15 years of professional experience in higher education teaching, research, and institutional management. I currently serve as Director of Marketing and Advertising, where I lead strategic communication, institutional branding, and stakeholder engagement at national and regional levels, as well as public engagement initiatives in line with Bonga University’s vision and strategic priorities.
I have served Bonga University in several key leadership positions, including Dean of the College of Business and Economics, Director of Research Publication, Ethics and Dissemination, Head of the Business and development Vice President Office, Head of the Academic Vice President Office, Head of the Research and Community Service Vice President Office, and Coordinator of the University–Industry Linkage Office. Through these roles, I have contributed significantly to academic governance, quality assurance, research coordination, strategic planning, and university–industry linkage development.
I hold a Master of Arts in Public Management from Jimma University and a Bachelor of Education in Marketing Management from Axum University. I played a key role in the preparation of Bonga University’s Five-Year Strategic Plan (2020.).My Teaching Philosophy is a student-centred and competency-based teaching approach, emphasizing critical thinking, ethical leadership, and practical problem-solving aligned with Ethiopia’s development priorities and Bonga University’s academic standards.
