Biography

I am Tesfaye Tadesse Gebre. I was born on September 21, 1986, in Tello District, Kaffa Zone, South West Regional State of Ethiopia. I completed my primary and junior secondary education at Bola Primary School and subsequently pursued my senior secondary education at Tello Secondary School and Bonga Bishaw W/Yohannes Secondary School. In 2005, I joined Adama Science and Technology University, College of Natural Sciences, where I earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry in 2007. In 2008, I enrolled at Hawassa University and successfully completed my Master of Science (MSc) degree in Physical Chemistry.
Following the completion of my postgraduate studies, I was employed as a lecturer at Kebridehar University in 2010 E.C. In 2011, I joined the Department of Chemistry at Bonga University, where I served as a lecturer, Head of the Department, Coordinator of Freshman Students, and Dean of the College of Natural and Computational Sciences until October 2017. In October 2017E.C, I joined the postgraduate programs of Wachemo University to pursue my Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) studies in Soil Science. Now I an 2 year (PhD) candidate student in Soil Science in Wachemo University.

My research interests focus on soil fertility management
soil physicochemical properties
carbon dynamics
conservation agriculture
phosphorus dynamics
and sustainable land use practices aimed at improving agricultural productivity and environmental sustainability.
