Mr. Terefe Habtemariam (also known as Terefe H/Mariam) is a dedicated Ethiopian public servant and academic administrator known for his leadership in both local government and higher education. With a strong background in organizational management and governance, he currently serves as a President Officer at Bonga University.

Current Role: President Officer, Bonga University In his current capacity at Bonga University, Mr. Terefe plays a pivotal role in the administrative and strategic operations of the institution. He works to align the university’s mission with the development goals of the Kaffa Zone and the wider region, ensuring that the university remains a hub for innovation and human capital development.
Public Service: Chena Woreda Administrator Approximately five years ago, Mr. Terefe served as the Administrator of Chena Woreda. During this tenure, he was responsible for the executive leadership of the district, overseeing public services, security, and local economic development. This role was instrumental in grounding his leadership style in grassroots community needs and public accountability. He is also Council Member for South West Ethiopia Regional Government.
