Biography

Academic Biography
Mr. Tilahun Gebretsadik Adare holds a BA in English Language and Literature from Bahir Dar University and an MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from Jimma University, where he is presently a PhD candidate in TEFL.
His research has been published in open-access journals, primarily focusing on two areas: the application of Multiple Intelligence theory to enhance argumentative writing skills in EFL contexts, and sociolinguistic surveys concerning the Kafinoonoo language, including its dialectal variation and standardization.
He is the author of several books, including works on Kafinoonoo literature, linguistics, oral literature, and a comprehensive trilingual Kafinoonoo-English-Amharic dictionary. His broader research interests encompass sociolinguistics, dialectology, orthographic studies, and grammatical analysis in south-western Ethiopia.
With 18 years of experience in language education, his career comprises seven years teaching English in elementary and secondary schools in the Kafa zone, five years as a language expert in the same zone, and six years as a lecturer at Jimma University.
He is currently a Lecturer in the Department of English Language and Literature at the College of Social Sciences and Humanities, Bonga University.
