Biography
Frehiwot Belay Damitew is a Lecturer of Civil Engineering currently at Bonga University, under College of Engineering and Technology, Ethiopia. She holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Hydraulics Engineering from Arba Minch University in July 2013 and a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Hydraulics Engineering from Jimma University in February 2018.
She has over nine years of experience as university lecturer at Bonga University since May 2018 and at Jigjiga University from October 2015 to April 2018, where she has been actively involved in undergraduate instruction, academic advising, Project Monitoring and Evaluation, Evaluating research papers, Monitoring community service and student mentorship.
In addition to her academic career, Frehiwot has served as hydraulics engineer at Kaffa zone Water and Mining Department from September 2014 to September 2015, where she has been engaging in public water project monitoring and evaluation, development of bill of quantity, and supervising implementation of projects and sanitation facilities.
