Biography
Ayahlush Shumye is a university lecturer with academic training in rural development, agricultural extension, and climate-smart agriculture. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Rural Development and Agricultural Extension and a Master’s degree in Climate-Smart Agriculture from Haramaya University, as well as an international Master of Science in Rural Development from Ghent University, Belgium.
She has over four years of experience in teaching, research, and community engagement. Her multidisciplinary and international training with students from European and non-European partner universities has strengthened her ability to work with diverse stakeholders in the socio-professional and development sectors.
