Welcome to the Department of Law at Bonga University. It is my great honor and privilege, as Head of the Department, to introduce our vibrant and continually evolving academic community.
Established in 2018, the Department of Law is firmly committed to excellence in legal education, impactful research, and meaningful community service. Our mission is to produce competent, ethical, and socially responsible legal professionals equipped to address contemporary legal challenges and contribute to the rule of law.
The department actively engages in academic and professional collaborations at the national level, including partnerships with the Consortium of Ethiopian Law Schools. In addition, our community outreach initiatives most notably the provision of free legal aid services to vulnerable groups demonstrate our strong commitment to social justice and public service, particularly within Kaffa Zone and Bonga town.
We remain dedicated to fostering a rigorous academic environment, encouraging critical thinking, and nurturing a culture of professionalism and integrity. I warmly invite all stakeholders students, scholars, partners, and visitors to engage with our department as we continue to grow and serve society through legal education
