The review was jointly conducted by members of the Bonga University Academic/Research Board Kifle W/Michael (Prof.) and Lulit Tilahun (PhD) together with Dr. Kelelew Adisu, Vice President for Teaching and Learning, Research, Technology Transfer, and Community Engagement at Bonga University.
In total, twenty research projects were reviewed. The evaluation mainly focused on whether the research works align with the University’s thematic areas, their current level of progress, and whether they are likely to be completed within the proposed timelines.
All researchers presented the status of their ongoing research projects in turn. They also responded appropriately to questions raised by the board members.
Finally, in the message delivered by the board members, it was noted that the overall progress of the research projects was good. However, they emphasized the importance of completing the projects according to the established timelines. They further stressed that, beyond addressing societal problems, due attention should also be given to publication. Overall, they expressed their strong satisfaction with the process.
Since the final outcome of research is publication, the review concluded with appreciation and encouragement, emphasizing this point.
Together, we can!
