The launching ceremony for the Bonga Federal Special Boarding Secondary School has been held.

(December 27, 2025) — During the launching ceremony of the boarding secondary school, the State Minister for the Higher Education Development Sector, H.E. Mr. Kora Tushune, stated that boarding schools are places where the holistic personality of tomorrow’s nation-builders is shaped.

His Excellency Mr. Kora emphasized that, alongside providing quality education, special boarding schools serve as centers for nurturing citizens who are built on strong character, disciplined, and capable of providing exceptional service in their professions.

The State Minister noted that while the focus of most schools is primarily on transferring academic knowledge, there is a vital need to produce citizens who can translate theoretical knowledge into practice to solve community problems.
