Bonga University Provides Training for Secondary School Professionals and Leaders

Bonga University is currently conducting a capacity-building training program for educational professionals and leaders from Bonga City and the Bishaw W/Yohannes cluster. The program officially commenced with an opening speech by the President of Bonga University, Dr. Degela Ergeno.

In his remarks, Dr. Degela emphasized that such capacity-building initiatives are vital for those leading the education sector. He explained that these efforts are a key part of the university's commitment to bridging the significant gaps currently existing within the educational framework.

The President officially launched the training by highlighting a shift in strategy: community service has now evolved into a "Cluster-Based" approach. This model operates on the principle of mutual giving and receiving. He noted that since the university and schools perform complementary tasks, they must work in harmony and take shared responsibility to achieve meaningful results.
